1 Who is iCTLT organised by?

iCTLT 2018 is organised by the Ministry of Education, Singapore.
2 Where does the iCTLT shuttle bus operate?
  The iCTLT shuttle bus operates between the HarbourFront Centre Coach Bay and Resorts World Sentosa Coach Bay on 31 May and 1 June morning.
   
3 Where is the iCTLT shuttle bus pick-up point?
  The iCTLT shuttle bus pick-up point is the HarbourFront Centre Coach Bay. Please refer to the map here for directions to the HarbourFront Centre Coach Bay.
   
4 What are the frequency and operating hours of the iCTLT shuttle bus?
  The iCTLT shuttle bus operates at 10 min intervals between 7.00 am and 9.45 am.
   
5 Where do I collect my conference materials?
  For MOE educators, the conference materials will be dispatched to your school/ branch at least 1 week prior to the conference. For non-MOE educators, the conference materials can be collected from the conference registration booths at level B1 of the Resorts World Convention Centre.
   
6 I forgot to bring my conference tag/ booklet. Can I get a reprint?
  We are unable to re-print conference badges. Please approach the conference information booth at level B1 of the Resorts World Convention Centre for assistance.
   
 7Where is the nearest mosque from Resort World Convention Centre?
  The nearest mosque is Masjid Temenggong Daeng Ibrahim at 30 Telok Blangah Rd, Singapore 098827.

MOE Educators (Government/ Government-Aided/ Independent Schools and HQ)

8                My school submitted a proposal to present at main conference and it was accepted. Will the presenters count towards the school’s nomination quota?

No, the presenters will not count towards the school's nomination quota.
9               Can we nominate more participants than our allocated quota? / Can we pay for additional educators to attend the conference?
  There has been overwhelming support for iCTLT 2018, and we expect more than 2,000 guests and participants to be present during the main conference days. We are striving to ensure a memorable and safe conference experience for all participants. Hence we are unable to accept requests for more participants beyond the quota allocated to the school/ branch.
   
10              Do nominated participants need to attend both days of the main conference? / Do presenters need to attend both days of the conference?
  Conference participants, including presenters, are expected to attend the full conference on both days.
   
11     Is it compulsory for school leaders/ middle managers to attend iCTLT?
  It is not mandatory for school leaders/ middle managers to attend iCTLT, although we recommend that the school nominates at least one school leader.    
   
12     I am unable to attend the conference. Can I nominate a replacement?
 

You may nominate a representative to take your place and use your conference badge to gain entry to the conference venue and activities. Please note that there we will not print/ re-print conference badges and booklets for representatives.     

Pre-conference Programme

13     What is the pre-conference programme?

The pre-conference consists of masterclasses that provide opportunities for closer engagement and deeper conversations with selected keynote and spotlight speakers.
14     Can an educator register for more than one masterclass for the pre-conference programme?
  As the masterclasses will be held concurrently, it is not possible for the educator to register for more than one masterclass.

Registration and Payment

15 Can students attend this conference?

The conference is meant for adult policy makers, school leaders, middle managers, teacher leaders, and researchers to network and share their insights, practices, experiences, and research studies on harnessing technology for 21st century learning, and envision and share emerging trends, pedagogical use of cutting-edge technology and innovative use of established technology for learning and teaching. Students are not encouraged to attend this event.
16     Can we register for both the pre-conference and the main conference?
 

Participants may register for:
(i) Pre-conference only; or
(ii) Main conference only; or
(iii) Pre-conference and main conference.

Please note that all pre-conference masterclasses have been fully subscribed.     

   
17     How much is the conference fee?
  The iCTLT 2018 main conference fee is SGD909.50 (inclusive of 7% GST). The iCTLT 2018 pre-conference fee is SGD214 (inclusive of 7% GST), and the pre-conference is optional.
   
18     What is included in the conference fee?
  The main conference fee includes the conference materials (conference tag and booklet), lunch, tea breaks, and access to the main conference programme. The pre-conference fee includes the materials for one masterclass and a tea break.    
   
19     Do presenters need to pay to attend the main conference?
  If the presenters are MOE-employed educators who are in government/ government-aided schools or seconded to independent schools, the main conference registration fee will be borne by MOE (i.e. it will not be charged to the school). If the presenters are educators who are directly hired by government-aided/ independent schools or not from MOE, the main conference registration fee of SGD909.50 (inclusive of 7% GST) will be borne by the school.
   
20     Is there any early-bird registration discount or group discount?
  There is no early-bird registration discount or group registration discount for iCTLT 2018.     
   
 21What is the payment process?
 

 For participants from MOE institutions, one consolidated payment per institution is to made through IFAAS/ internet banking, and instructions on how this is to be done will be communicated directly to the institution’s coordinator. For non-MOE participants, payment is through an e-payment gateway service (PayPal).

  
  22Can I use my own SkillsFuture credit to pay for the conference fee?
  iCTLT 2018 is not part of the list of training programmes by SkillsFuture, hence SkillsFuture credits cannot be used to pay the conference fee. For more information on SkillsFuture, please refer to https://www.myskillsfuture.sg.
  
  23 I am unable to attend the conference / I would like to withdraw from the conference. Can I get a refund?
 No refund will be given once payment has been made. You may nominate a representative to take your place and use your conference badge to gain entry to the conference venue and activities. Please note that there we will not print/ re-print conference badges and booklets for representatives.
